Juliette Has A Bay Filly!Our little bundle arrived between thunderstorms on the evening of April 24, 2008. Juliette and baby are doing
very well. We have named the baby Lucky Penny. As Juliette is now 18 years old, we will be retaining this big filly as her
replacement for broodmare duties. Just two more foals due this year in late June.

Women and Horses Expo UpdateThe official date for the Women and Horses Expo has been set for October 24, 25, and 26 at the Missouri State
Fair grounds in Sedalia, Missouri. A detailed list of clinicians will be posted soon. See you there!

Thanks for Stopping byMagic was a hit at the expo. He received lots of hugs and kisses from the local kids and enjoyed the friendly
scratches. Dana and I also enjoyed talking pony to everyone that stopped by the booth. If you missed us, or want to see Magic
in harness be sure catch us at the Women & Horses Expo Oct 24, 25, and 26 in Sedalia Missouri. This event
is being held for the first time at the Missouri State Fair grounds. We look forward to seeing you there!

Magic out and about!Magic will be greeting folks in central Missouri on Saturday January 26, 2008 at the Mid-Way Expo Center. Come
out and  let Magic show you what Fells are known for, beautiful looks, level-headed, and fun personality. We look forward to seeing
you at the expo. Mid-way Expo Center is located on I-70 half-way between Kansas City and Saint Louis Missouri. The event opens
at 8 am and lasts all day.

Whose Baby?  Ponies, like all equines are very social animals. Each of the ponies have their own unique traits. Juliette for instance is
a very sweet mare, that loves being a mom. However, she is an alpha mare and is in charge. In the photo is Juliette the
dark bay, Jade the grey, and Jade's baby, Angel. The funny thing is, Angel is forever following Juliette around, stealing
her food, and invading her space as if Juliette were her mother instead of Jade's. I get a good laugh when I tell Juliette,
"That's not your baby!" and Juliette will pin her ears and shoo Angel away, as if she understands what I am
saying.
